Come hear from Raefer Wallis, an architect and the founder of GIGA, who’s key programs include RESET and ORIGIN. RESET is the world’s first building standard to assess and benchmark the health performance of buildings in real-time. ORIGIN is the world’s largest hub of data on building materials and a proud supporter of the Mindful Materials initiative. Raefer will share his architectural perspective and personal journey from practicing architect to authoring building standards and building these GIGA programs.

Whois the ORGANIZER “AIANY”?

Founded in 1857, AIA New York is the oldest andlargest chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The Chapter’s membersinclude over 5,500 practicing architects, allied professionals, students, andpublic members interested in architecture and design. Members participate inover 25 committees to address critical issues facing the built environment. Yearly,a dozen public exhibitions and hundreds of public programs explore topicsincluding sustainability, resiliency, new technologies, housing, historicpreservation, and urban design.
